How to Make Brown Butter

Brown Butter has a very nutty aroma and nutty taste which usually brings out the flavor in your baked goods even more. Some baked goods that are good with brown butter are cookies, cakes, and sometimes even sweet breads.


In this post, I'll be showing you guys how to make brown butter. It's easier than you think! And it will really elevate your recipes and maybe even give you more variety and flavors.

HOW LONG IS THE SHELF LIFE?

  • Shelf life, when put in the fridge, can last to up to how long the regular butter used will last.

HOW TO STORE THEM?

  • In an air tight container in the fridge.




How to Make Brown Butter

 

Makes: 1 1/2 Cup of Brown Butter

Ingredients:


❑ 1 1/2 Cup of Butter (1 1/2 Sticks of Butter)


 

Directions:


STEP 1: Add the butter in the pan and melt it in medium heat.

 

STEP 2: Once it's melted, continuously stir it until you see bubbles forming.

 

STEP 3: When the bubbles are there, wait for a nutty smell to hit you and for the butter to turn slightly brown. Once you've reached that, take it out of the heat and continue stirring.

 

STEP 4: Once the brown butter has slightly cooled down, there you have it! You can use it immediately or wait for it to completely cool down or even store it in the fridge for future use.
