Simple & Easy Peach Cobbler

Before the summer officially ends, I'm sharing with you my Peach Cobbler recipe! It's a simple recipe and it's good for the hot days. I love Peach Cobbler especially when it's eaten with some vanilla ice cream (which is also my favorite ice cream flavor by the way).

This recipe is a simple one and it's not too sweet as well, which I LOVE! This is a recipe that's good to make if you still have excess peaches or even overripe ones.

  • Shelf life, when put in the fridge, can last to up to 10 days.

  • In an air tight container either in the fridge.

Simple & Easy Peach Cobbler

Serves: 6 Peach Cobbler Slices

Peach Filling:

❑ 3-4 pieces of Peaches (sliced)

❑ 2 tbsp of Brown Sugar

❑ 2 tbsp of White Sugar

❑ 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon Powder

❑ 1 tbsp of Lemon Juice

❑ 3/4 Cup of Flour

❑ 3 tbsp of Brown Sugar

❑ 2 tbsp of White Sugar

❑ 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon Powder

❑ 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder

❑ 1/4 Cup of Cubed Butter

❑ 1/4 Cup of Milk

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

STEP 2: Make the filling.

With your sliced peaches, add some brown sugar, white sugar, lemon juice and some cinnamon powder. Mix until well-combined.

Set aside so it can "marinade" for a while.

STEP 3: Make the topping.

Add the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon powder, and baking powder and mix together.

STEP 4: Add the cubed butter to the dry mixture by gently massaging it. Stop when it's all clumpy and can hold a shape when squeezed in your hands.

STEP 5: Add the milk and give it one last mix until everything is well-incorporated.

STEP 6: Add the peach filling to any container and top it off with the topping you made.

STEP 8: Pop in the oven for about 35-40 minutes.

When done, let it cool off for about 10 minutes before eating it as is or serving it with ice cream. ENJOY! :)
